I am thrilled to be announced as the Head Coach of the Renfrew Timberwolves. As someone who grew up in Dunrobin and played my entire hockey career in West Carleton, this opportunity is a dream come true.
My coaching journey began with the Carleton Place Jr. Canadiens in the 2021-2022 season, where I started as an Assistant Coach focusing on video player development. Through dedication and hard work, I was promoted to Assistant Coach for the 2022-2023 season. In this role, I was responsible for recruiting and scouting during the offseason and worked specifically with the forwards during the season, helping to develop and refine their skills, and moving multiple players to the Jr. A level.
In the 2023-2024 season, I joined the Nepean Raider Jr. A team as an Assistant Coach and Scout. Working under the guidance of Jerrett Defazio and Keenan Reynolds, I honed my expertise in all facets of the game, rounding out my coaching abilities and preparing me for this new challenge with the Timberwolves.
I believe that Jason Gould has created an outstanding culture here in Renfrew, and I am honoured to continue building on that legacy with the Jr. B team. He will continue to build that culture with the Jr. A program this coming season. I am incredibly excited to join the Renfrew Timberwolves and look forward to contributing to the team’s success. It’s an honour to be chosen as Jason Gould’s successor, and I am committed to upholding the values and standards he has set.
I look forward to an exciting season and the continued growth and success of the Renfrew Timberwolves.
